Dallam 72-Hour Release Access
The official Dallam County sheriff page provides sheriff and jail contacts, but its Jail-Dispatch route contains no rolling 72-hour control, live roster, recent-bookings feed, or released-person archive. It also states no cadence, retention window, field list, or photo policy for such a feed. A commercial list or another Texas county's report is not an official Dallam-Hartley record.
A three-day query is still possible through existing records. Define a start and end time, then ask for responsive release or movement events maintained during that span. The event should be read for community exit versus transfer. Bond, dismissal, a court order, or completion of a county sentence can end local confinement. Transfer to TDCJ, another county, federal authorities, or ICE continues custody elsewhere.
Check Dallam Three-Day Releases
Choose the exact three-day interval first. Calendar dates alone can leave midnight boundaries unclear, so state the beginning and ending date and time. For a named person, include the legal name, aliases, date of birth, approximate booking date, and booking or cause number if known. For a countywide set, ask for existing event records within the range rather than demanding a new compiled report.

- Follow a transfer through the named state, federal, county, or immigration authority rather than labeling it a community release.
The Dallam County 24-Hour Releases route is better for a same-day interval. It uses the same official custodians but asks a narrower question.
Dallam Three-Day Record Fields
No online Dallam 72-hour screen exists, so it would be inaccurate to claim that a public list shows standard columns. Instead, request the fields that can resolve the custody event. “Time served” means the custody term reflected in the order was satisfied. It does not erase the charge. “Bonded out” means the case continues outside custody. “Discharged” can refer to completion of a sentence or supervision depending on the system. Those terms should not be substituted for each other.
Dallam Weekend Release Windows
A 72-hour range is useful when the event may have happened across a weekend or another multi-day stretch. Yet Dallam County publishes no online schedule from which to infer when data would post. Do not promise that an event will appear on the next business day or remain visible for three days. The range belongs in the written request, not in an invented portal rule.
Use actual clock times. If the first response omits the event, check whether the jail records the release when staff authorize it, when property is returned, or when the person physically leaves. The research does not establish which timestamp convention the jail uses, so ask the custodian to identify the field supplied. Court action can also precede operational release, especially if another hold must be resolved.
For one individual, the Dallam County release-record search connects the jail event with the court and receiving-agency paths. That targeted route is often clearer than seeking every event in a three-day span.

The county publishes sheriff@dallam.org and jail-dispatch@dallam.org, but the sheriff's designated electronic Public Information Act route should be confirmed.
Texas Government Code Chapter 552 requires prompt production of public information, subject to exceptions and the records actually held. It does not promise that every record arrives within ten business days. If production cannot occur within that period, section 552.221 calls for a reasonable availability date. An agency seeking an Attorney General ruling follows separate statutory steps.
No fixed fee is supported. State cost rules apply, and an estimate over $40 triggers a written itemized estimate and response process. Narrow dates, request electronic records, and exclude duplicates. Law-enforcement, juvenile, privacy, sealed, expunged, and nondisclosure rules may affect what is produced. If material is withheld, ask which exception applies and whether separable basic or release-event fields can be provided.
Dallam Release Systems Differ
The Dallam-Hartley booking record covers the local episode. If it says transfer, use its receiving-agency field before choosing the next system. TDCJ's public web search covers current state prisoners and is updated on working days, with data that can be at least 24 hours old. It excludes people no longer incarcerated, so a post-release no-result is not a discharge record.

Texas IVSS-Counties is a status and notification channel where participation applies, not a permanent Dallam release archive. TDCJ operates a separate IVSS for state-prison and parole events. A notification can help track change, but the original jail or corrections record remains the source for the custody episode.
Dallam Has No 72-Hour Control
The distinctive local data issue is simple: the county's legacy official site has contact pages but no live roster, search box for releases, 24-hour or 72-hour selector, or stated archive period. That makes a targeted jail call and written request the first local path. It also bars the common shortcut of treating disappearance from a commercial current-roster mirror as proof of release.
